Who we are

The service

fundlo.dev is an app for recording and reviewing your personal income and expenses. It is run by the business named under "Who we are".

The basic plan is free, with no time limit. For more, you can choose a paid plan or a lifetime licence, as described below. Nothing is charged without your agreement.

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. The details you give us must be accurate, and you are responsible for keeping your password and sign-in codes private.

If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password, sign out other sessions in settings and let us know.

Paid plans

What each plan includes and what it costs is shown on the plans page and again before you pay. Prices include tax.

Payments are handled for us by Stripe, through its Managed Payments service. For the purchase, Stripe is the seller: it charges you, handles tax, issues the invoice and makes refunds, under its own terms shown when you pay. That is why the invoice does not come from us, also when you buy for a company.

A subscription is paid monthly or yearly and renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in settings, under Subscription. Your plan then stays active until the end of the paid period, after which you move to the free plan. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except when you withdraw from the contract within 14 days, as described in the notice on the right of withdrawal.

A new account gets a trial of a paid plan. You do not need a card for it and nothing is charged, and when it ends the account moves to the free plan on its own.

The price of your subscription does not change while you keep paying it. If we ever have to change it, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, so you can cancel before the new price applies.

When you move to a lower plan or your plan ends, nothing is deleted. All your records stay visible, and the lower plan's limits apply only to new entries.

The family plan is for members of one household, up to six people: the owner, who pays for it and manages it, and up to five members they invite. Each member's records stay their own.

On the free plan you can view shared groups and write in their chat, but not add expenses, whatever role the group admin gave you.

If a payment is refunded or you dispute it with your bank, the paid plan ends immediately.

Lifetime licence

A lifetime licence is paid once, is for one person and does not renew. What it includes is shown on the plans page and before you pay.

"Lifetime" means for as long as fundlo.dev exists. If we ever shut the service down, we will tell you at least 90 days in advance, and until then you will be able to export all your data.

If you already pay for a subscription, you choose before paying when the licence starts. If it starts when the subscription ends, the subscription no longer renews and stays active until the end of the paid period, and the licence starts on that day. If it starts right away, the subscription ends immediately, with no refund for the rest of the period, and the licence applies from the payment.

You can also withdraw from a licence purchase within 14 days and get the full amount back. Withdrawal, a refund or a disputed payment ends the licence.

Sales, codes and referrals

A sale price applies only during the stated period, and the lowest price of the 30 days before the sale is shown next to it. A promo code applies under the conditions it came with, for example only for a certain plan, period or until a certain date. Only one discount applies to a purchase, and if both a sale and a code apply, you get the better one. Discounts cannot be exchanged for money.

Someone who creates an account through your link or invitation gets a longer trial. When they pay for a plan and do not withdraw within 14 days, you get a reward: a free month of your monthly subscription, a discount of one monthly price on your next yearly renewal or, if you do not pay for a subscription, a month of a paid plan. A reward is never money, and you can get at most 12 a year.

Referring yourself or another account of your own, or a payment made with the same card, earns no reward. We may cancel a reward obtained that way or through other abuse.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for lawful purposes and only for your own records. Do not try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, get around its security or usage limits, or put heavy load on it with automated tools.

Your account is for you alone. Do not share it or sell access to it, and do not use the family plan to keep swapping members.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules and end its paid plan, licence or rewards. Where it is safe to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

Your data

Everything you enter stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, process it and show it back to you, so that the service works.

How we handle personal data, and the rights you have over it, is described in the privacy policy.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep the app available and your data safe, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.

Figures in the app, including currency conversions based on published exchange rates, are for information only. They are not financial, tax or legal advice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on what the app shows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in settings. Deleting it removes your data as described in the privacy policy.

Deleting your account ends your paid plan and licence immediately. If you are still within the 14 days for withdrawal, withdraw in settings before you delete it, so we can refund you.

We may close the service or an account with reasonable notice by email, except where immediate action is needed because the rules above were broken.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes too, and you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you do not accept it, you can delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
